Midterm Meltdowns
Week seven: Can that be right? Its already the seventh week of the semester, midterms are next week and still it only feels as though we started yesterday! The past two weeks have been a blur, a few covid scares with my classmates sent us all home to isolate for the better half of a week, then Ry and I traveled north for a few days to attend a friends wedding; of course we came home with allergy attacks and minor head colds, 'tis the season' but goodness am I ready to be back in the swing of things. I've been feeling like a juggler who keeps dropping pins during their act, or a car spinning its tires in the mud...
Forcast for this week is dense, the two toned paintings are still in the works, each at various stages. By the "end" of the month the goal is to have six paintings completed, and another three for our corresponding class. (nevermind the other 5 on my backburner for another class alltogether) What could go wrong? -Don't answer that!-
So onward I shall charge! Armed with multivitamins and suppliments, strapped with paints and pallete knives, brushes stuffed haphazardly into my dreads, ready to take on anything!
